LÍN KITCHEN SET

Inspired by French country style kitchen towels but with a vertical stripe instead of the classic horizontal ones, this set would adorn every kitchen. Make it for your self or as a gift, in the colors of your choice.

The set is worked in Linen stitch. On the front side the stitch forms a neat texture that resembles weaving. On the back side, the texture resembles moss stitch. The two sides differ in texture but both look and feel pleasant. The stitch is firm and produces a strong and durable cloth.

The pattern requires basic knitting knowledge and is suitable for most knitters.

Finished measurements
Hand towel: Approx. 30×40 cm / 11¾x15 ¼ in.
Dishcloth: Approx. 21×21 cm / 8¼x8¼ in.

Gauge: 17 stitches x 30 rows in Linen stitch  = 10 x 10 cm / 4×4 in.

Suggested needle size: Long circular or single pointed needles 5 mm / size 8

Suggested yarn and yardage required: Any medium/Worsted-Weight cotton yarn can be used. For the set, three skeins of 75 meters / 82 yards is needed, two in main color and one in contrast color.
