STILLA WRIST WARMERS

Sometimes simple is just best. The Stilla wrist warmers are devoid of frills but stylish and classic in their simplicity. Good for outdoor use in spring and autumn, but also indoors when it's cold in winter. They knit up quickly and the pattern is ideal for beginners and advanced knitters alike. 

Sizes: 1 (S-M) and 2 (L-XL).

Gauge: 21 st in stockinette = 10 cm / 4 in.

Needles: Size 4 mm/US 6 double pointed needles, or long circular needle if you use the magic loop technique  - or the needle size that gives the right knitting tension.

Yarn: Yarn of your choice, suitable for the knitting tension (21 stitches per 10 cm/4 in). The wrist warmers featured in the photos are worked up in Puna from Drops yarn (50 g = 110 m/120 yd) in colorway 04. This yarn is made of 100% alpaca. You will need one skein for the smaller size and two for the larger size.

Difficulty level: 2 out of 5. There are no complicated techniques in this pattern, just the traditional cast on and bind off, simple rib, stockinette in the round, and increases to the right and left, as well as making reverse loop increases.
