The Duggari mittens are worked in the same stitch as the popular Duggari sweater. The stitch is simple and quickly learned, and it gives the fabric a texture that keeps the knitting interesting. There are two versions: a plain ribbed cuff, or an extended cuff that tucks up under a coat sleeve. Good on their own, or with the beanie and cowl to match.

How it is worked
Worked in the round from the cuff up. The texture runs across the back of the hand, with stocking stitch across the palm. Nothing to seam at the end. An Italian tubular cast-on gives a soft, elastic edge to the cuff, though it is not required.
